The Archamps University and Research Centre plays host to public and private sector initiatives in the fields of:
- . higher education and training
. scientific and technological research and transfer
. institutional cross-border academic collaboration
Organisations having made Archamps their home include:

EIPM - European Institute of Purchasing Management :
EIPM, the European centre of excellence in industrial purchasing management, offers a range of training opportunities, including:
AMBA accredited MBA in strategic purchasing: 14 residential 1-week modules for purchasing executives, taken over a period 18 months to 3 years.
A range of Certified Advanced Purchasing Courses (CAPC) adapted to all levels, from newcomers to expert buyers.
EIPM has developed on-line methods of self-assessment allowing companies to pinpoint strengths and weaknesses of purchasing managers and staff. EIPM is also engaged in R&D actions with a number of international clients.
Each year EIPM provides expert training in 8 languages (including Chinese and Japanese) for more than 4000 people throughout the world. Amongst its regular clients and international references can be counted: Alstom, Autoliv, Axa, Bayer, Basf, Eads, Nokia, ST Microelectronics, Nexans, Safran, SKF, Thyssen, Ford, PSA, Valeo, Volvo.

ESI – European Scientific Institute :
ESI is a group of 20 technological universities, research centres and hospitals spread throughout Western and Eastern Europe.
Each year, in partnership with CERN, Geneva University Hospital and a number of European and American universities, ESI organises two specialist schools open to students from Europe, although a number come from further afield. Research and health sector professionals also participate on a modular basis.
ESMP : European School for Medical Physics: organised in partnership with the European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics, ESMP specialises in biomedical physics with a particular focus on medical imaging (both with and without ionising radiation), Radiotharapy, Brachytherapy, Medical informatics...
JUAS : Joint Universities Accelerator School: JUAS offers a ten-week accredited in the physics and technologies of particle accelerators.
The ABC laboratory undetakes research and development in medical imaging, working in close collaboration with the Archamps BioPARK and other European laboratories.

Its mission is to:
-
Act as a bridge between research laboratories, universities and industry in France’s Rhône-Alpes region and the French-speaking Romandy region of Switzerland
Assist businesses wishing to incorporate microelectronics into the value chain of their products : awareness raising, training, studies, R&D, prototypes, demonstrators, tests, pre-series, production
C4i is a Public-private venture, with the IN2P3-CNRS holding a 60% stake, the other 40% being held by a business consortium comprising: ALPES-DEIS, CTDEC, LEM, SEB-CALOR-TEFAL, SENSOREX, SNR and SOMFY

C.R.I. – Centre de Ressources Informatiques de Haute-Savoie :

CRI74 is engaged in research and development work and provides a range of training opportunities.

Pharmapeptides :
This interuniversity biopharmaceutical research and training facility is a partnership between the University of Geneva and the Claude Bernard University in Lyon.
Its research fields include the conception, characterisation and development of new pharmaceutical products and delivery systems. A close and growing relationship exists between Pharmapeptides’ network of research and industrial scientists and that of the BioPARK.

Euro-Institut :
Created by the University of Savoie in October 2005, the Euro-Institut accompanies emerging projects in the field of cross-border higher education and research. Amongst other events, the Euro-Institut organises the annual Assises universitaires transfrontalières.
The Euro-Institut has been instrumental in establishing the « Health Project Management » degree course co-taught by IMUS (Institut de Management de l’Université de Savoie) and HEC Genève, the University of Geneva’s business school.
The Euro-Institut also hosts certain modules of the interuniversity (Grenoble, Savoie, Geneva, Lausanne) Master programme, MATIS, in the field of management of information systems.
